So manly

We went to a party on Saturday night, and when the stick-on mustaches broke out, Bevo just couldn't resist.

Like a big pizza pie

A little Homeslice pizza really hit the spot this Friday.  We had to wait about an hour & a half for a table, but the weather was nice, & the wine was cold on the outdoor patio.

In front of the door at Homeslice.  I love the way this came out.

The Bomb

On Thursday, we visited the Alamo Drafthouse to see Cedar Rapids.  It turned out to be a great movie, a quirky, interesting story about insurance salesman (not as boring as it sounds!) starring Ed Helms and John C. Reilly.  As we were walking in to the theater, we saw a yarn bomb on the drainage pipe and I couldn't help taking a pic.  They are popping up all of Austin and I love them.  They always make me smile.

Food Crawl!

Last Sunday, we enjoyed a Food Crawl around south Austin put together by our friend Krissy.  We ended up going to the food trailer park on SoCo, eating tasty bites from three of their trailers (fried pickles, pork tacos, and a chicken, avacado cone from Mighty Cone), then sandwiches at Luke's Inside Out, next to Gibson's bar and finished it up with donuts at Gourdough's.  It was really fun way to spend an evening, and although I've been to the South Congress trailer park before, it was great to try out a few new places that we've never experienced.  Everything we sampled was awesome.

Waiting for deliciousness at Gourdough's

Happy iPhone to me!

So after 3 blackberry storm mishaps, some my fault, some not, I have now joined the iPhone nation.  I've been wanting one for quite a while, but haven't had the chance to switch until about a week ago when I dropped my blackberry storm on the asphalt parking lot at work & killed the screen.  I have to say...I'm really loving it so far.  I was used to having the internet and facebook, but there are so many more apps, fun games & other cool stuff for the iPhone...I've been having alot of fun trying things out.  My favs so far are the hipstamatic camera & a photo booth app.  I love the texture that both of the apps put onto photos!  Here are a few I've taken:
